He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Willard Jeanette and Shirley Jean Thompson (Carlisle); and his granddaughter Baylee Stenman-Jeanette. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbi" Jeanette (Nichols); his children, Rene Jeanette of Battle Creek, MI, George Michael Jeanette Jr. (Andrea) of Delton, MI, Andrew Nichols (Jae) of Concord, MI, Thomas Gilchrist (TJ) of Florida and Katherine Valentine (Aaron); his grandchildren, Devon Jeanette, KayLeigh "Kay" Buffum Jeanette, Michael "Bub" Jeanette, Emma Jeanette, Dominick "Dom" Nichols, Audrey Jo Jeanette, Edward Valentine, Abigail "Abby" Valentine and Zaedyn Fryman; and his brothers, Jeffery "Jeff" Jeanette and Floyd "Ed" Thompson.
