Age 71, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Friday evening, October 11, 2024. George was born in Chicago, IL, on September 29, 1953, the son of George and Kathleen Mary (Schroeder) Erimie. In 2011, George married the love of his life, Brian Rotvold. They enjoyed a twenty-five year relationship. George was a friendly and outgoing guy. In his younger years, he excelled at diving and was on the diving teams of both his high school and college. In recent years, George led a simple life and just enjoyed being with Brian. Besides his husband, George is survived by his sister, Susan (David) Berganski of Chicago; sister-in-law, Karen Erimie; and a host of loving neighbors and friends, including his four-legged friends, Bella and Rolo. George was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Erimie.
