He is survived by: his mother Elida Valdez Cavazos; his wife Lorraine Leyja Cavazos; his children, George Albert Cavazos, Jasmine Serrath Cavazos and Cordell Allen Cavazos; and his siblings, Juanita Cavazos, Anita Gomez, Isabel Solis, Maria Luna, Rosie Cavazos, Rey Cavazos, Gerardo Cavazos, Jesus Cavazos Jr. and Ricardo Cavazos.
