He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Doorlag and Rena Doorlag (Engberts); his former wife Pauline (Roobol); his spouse Martena (VanMeekeren); his son-in-law Phillip Riggins; his children, Allen Doorlag (Jane), Janet Riggins, Gary Doorlag (Diane) and Tom Doorlag (Carol); and his siblings, Edward Doorlag (Pat), John Doorlag, James Doorlag (Ruth), Alice Bosma and Robert Doorlag (Judy). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Prairie Edge Christian Reformed Church or the Kalamazoo Christian School Association.
