He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Louise Myland (Wells). He is survived by: his father Frederick Myland; his grandsons, Carter, Samuel and Silas; his close friend Connie Kyes-Myland; his children, Gregory Kyes (Caroline) and Gretchen Kyes-Myland of Louisville, KY; and his brother Tom (Laurie) Myland. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, 2 nephews, and 3 nieces.
