It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick B. Bekker of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bekker and Ada Mae Bekker (Balmer). He is survived by: his wife Liz Bekker; his children, Kristjan Bekker, Eric Bekker (Joan Orman) and Katie Bunce (Mike); and his granddaughters, Aoife, Fiona and Alice Bunce.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fred may be made to Alternatives of Kalamazoo.
