Though Franklin Lamont may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Franklin Lamont leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank VanOosten and Dorothy VanOosten (Ryder); and his sister Martha Lang (Homer). He is survived by: his wife Joan VanOosten; his children, Doug VanOosten (Pat), Dennis VanOosten (Kay), Michelle Mejeur (Kevin) and Mark VanOosten (Pam); and his sister Pat Boonstra (Sid). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
