Frank Zwart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Zwart of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Zwart and Frances Zwart (Draayer); his daughters, Brenda and Mary Beth; his wives, Catherine DeLoof and Joyce Johnson Berghuis; and his siblings, Agnes Madden (Zwart), Berdina Zwart, Ralph, Peter, Sydney and Bernard Zwart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Balkema (Ralph) and Judith Forde; his stepsons, Rick Berghuis (Bonnie) and Kevin Berghuis (Michelle); his grandchildren, Joel Balkema (Amber), Lynn Buchkowski (John), Jordan Balkema, Jessalynn Forde, Aleisha Forde, Marissa Forde, Abbey Guy, Wendy Penning, Jason Berghuis (Jill), Katie Mallette (Kristy), Taylor Berghuis (Sarah), Joshua Berghuis (Elizabeth) and Rachel Berghuis; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jade, Austin, Skyler, Logan, Ryder, Phoenyx, Josie, Gabe, Jaiden, Kaleb, Khaleil, Landon and Tessa; and his brother Gordon Zwart (Dona). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
