Age 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Donna, TX, on May 20, 1948, the son of the late Pablo and Josefa (Jackson) Olvera. Felix was kind, loving and supportive. He had a great personality which made him a joy to know. He loved his family and friends and loved to spend time with them during a Sunday gathering. He was an avid sports fan and loved supporting UofM, the Lions and Green Bay. Responsibility and hard work were important traits for Felix. He retired from Hydro-Wells Aluminum in Parchment, MI, where he never missed a day of work. He had a servant's heart and was deeply involved with the Disability Network where he volunteered. Felix enjoyed being outdoors, grilling, throwing the ball around or working in the yard. Above all he loved his family and was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by a daughter, Analesa (Dominic Blanks) Olvera; son, Cornell (Dina) Gordon, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a brother, Pablo J. Olvera; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was also preceded in passing by five siblings, Juan, Frank and Flavio Olvera, Sarah Lopez and Marta Cervantes.
