With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Etha May Whitley (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Aberdeen, Mississippi, who passed away on January 15, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie McGhee and Carrie McGhee (Bernette); her husband Willie T. Whitley; her parents-in-law, William T. Whitley Sr. and Mary Lou Whitley (James); her daughters, Willie S. Beville and Mary Lois Reynolds; her grandsons, Jeremy, Jermaine Harris, Brian Grayson and Orlando Beville; and her great grandchild Javonte Moore.
She is survived by: her children, A. L. (Marietta), Charlie D (Sherry), Palis Whitley, Jerlean Grayson (George), Eloise Dyson (Joseph), Shanda Hill (Lou), Christina Martin, Janice Overton (Virgil), Valerie Longuemire, Tamela Stewart and Tarsha Whitley-London; her siblings-in-law, Ora Mae Kelly, Bernice Whitley, Andrew, Jessie Whitley, John Smith, Oneda Smith, Donnie Gunn, Doris Wallace and Arlene Graves; and her sons-in-law, Bruce Longuemire and Roosevelt Beville. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
