With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elida Muniz of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Ed Muniz; and her siblings, Jesse Espinoza, Lupita Rodriguez and Irene Maldonado. She is survived by: her husband Ruben; her children, Ron Muniz (Audrey) and Diana Lewis (Jason); her daughter-in-law Sheila Muniz (Ed); her grandchildren, Tyler Muniz (Bree), Colin Lewis (Sarah), Ashley Lewis and Jadyn Muniz; her great grandchildren, Breck Muniz, Liam Lewis and Madison Muniz; and her siblings, Wenceslado Espinoza, Ninfa McConnel, Juanita Romero and Maria Elena Bamberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
