With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Berman in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Berman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice McClurkin and James McClurkin; her former husband Laurence Berman; and her sister Marilyn VanStrein. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sam and Abbie; her sons, Kenneth Berman (Beverly) and Daniel Berman (Pamela Protzel); her grandchildren, Samuel Berman and Abigail Berman; and her brother Jim McClurkin (Marilyn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed playing cards, reading, building puzzles in the pandemic, going to the theatre, watching the University of Michigan basketball and football games, volunteering at the annual USTA Boys' National Tennis Championships at Kalamazoo College, but mostly, spending time with family.
