He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Matilda Johanna Gilbert Sr. (Brandt); and his siblings, Dena Wheeler, Geneva A. Callen and John W. Gilbert Jr. No.
He is survived by: his siblings, Beverly J. Marker of Portage, Paul M. Gilbert (Viktorija) of Portage and Donald Gilbert of Dover, TN; and his brother-in-law Gerald Callen of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by nephews and many friends.
