He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ossewaarde and Anna Ossewaarde; his wife Ruth Lillian Klan; his daughter Kaye Lynne; and his siblings, Jack Ossewaarde and Betty Freund.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Erin Chaffin (Matt), Matthew Ossewaarde, Kristin Haney (Paul), Michael Ossewaarde (Annie) and Gary Ossewaarde (Katherine).
