She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Docsa and Ruby Fay Docsa (Parker); her husband Maurice Junior Pontius; her son Dave Pontius; her grandson James Smith; and her siblings, Richard Docsa and Charlene Dykehouse.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Pontius (Rick Cronkite) and Deb Smith (Jerald); her grandchildren, Laura Simmons (Danny), Michael Simmons (Susan), David Smith and Jesse Pontius; her great grandchildren, Johnathan Falls and Ella Davis; and her sister Nancy Caro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
