Edith Cloud Obituary

A memorial service will be held on November 23, 2024 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall 2098 N. 10th street Kalamazoo MI 49009.

On November 7, 2024 Edith Cloud passed away peacefully at Alamo Cove, in
Kalamazoo Michigan. Edith was born October 9, 1944 in Belize, British Honduras,
the daughter of Jacob and Elda (Garbutt) Cabral. She came to America in 1970,
where she met and married Clifford Cloud, who proceeded her in death in 1987.
Edith became a proud American Citizen in 1988 and worked as a nanny and
housekeeper in Manhattan, New York. While she raised her children in the Bronx,
she found comfort and purpose through her faith and was baptized as a Jehovah's
Witness on June15, 1991. Edith was faithful in her service work until she
physically was unable to do it any longer. Besides her husband, she is proceeded
in death by her daughter Beverly Wagoner and sister Bernetta Cabral. Surviving
her are four children; Elwin Cabral, Albert Austin, Kenrick Cabral and Ituha
(Tiffany) Cloud. Twelve grandchildren and seven siblings; Elga Cabral, Yvonne
(Lloyd) Lewis, Winston "Pops" Cabral, Stephen "Bill" Cabral, Clive Cabral, Pamela
Leslie and Jacob "Jack" Cabral.
