He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald T. Hoffmann and Ellen Hoffmann (Dragovich); his friend William Bruce "Scotty"; and his brothers, Tom and Keith Hoffmann.
He is survived by: his pets, Toby and Tansy; his wife Leslie (Kravets); his son James "Jimmy" Pobocik; his granddaughter Shoshanna; his siblings-in-law, Julie Mallette (Brian Sladek), Lori Alvarez, Linda Kravets, Lisa Kneller (Jim), Michael Smith (Bonnie), Dean Muenzer (Connie) and Lloyd Muenzer (Sharon); and also, Carol Malpass (Ted) and Martha Cambron (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes or Kalamazoo Area Habitat for Humanity, in memory of Doug.
