With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ruth Peterson of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wood Hoag and Margaret Kelso Hoag; her siblings, Isabel Hoag Pentony and Charles Kelso Hoag; and her husband Douglas W. Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Paul (Julie), Sarah, Andrew (Denise) and Daniel Humiston; her grandchildren, Valerie and Alec; her sister-in-law Mary Tuven Hoag; her nieces, Isabelle Hoag, Andrea Hoag and Lisa Pentony; and her nephew Bryan Pentony.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to "The Green Tree Library Fund for the LeClaire Community Library" in memory of D.R. Peterson.
