She was predeceased by: her son Steve; and her brothers, Tom and Steve. She is survived by: her husband Mel; her daughter-in-law Nancy (late Steve); her sons, Mike (Linda) and Don (Sheri); her grandchildren, Jason, Lindsey (Dan), Nathan (Ally), Kate (Josh), Michele (Brian), Scott (Irma), Matthew (Andrea), Ben (Kristen) and Elizabeth (Matt); and her siblings, Barbara James (Jerry), Judy Ledbetter (Doug) and John Elmore (Karen). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Christian Schools or Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries, in Elaine's memory.
