Donna Yaple-Yowler Obituary

Donna will be laid to rest in a graveside service on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, South, 3941 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo. An hour of visitation will take place one prior to the service the at cemetery's mausoleum chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 100, passed away early Monday morning, July 10, 2023. Donna was born in Kalamazoo on April 17, 1923, the daughter of Neil and Nellie (Dykers) Benzenberg. In April, Donna met her goal of reaching the age of 100. Donna worked for many years at Bronson Methodist Hospital as a medical secretary. Donna loved reading her Bible. Donna is survived by her son, Craig, (Linda) Yaple of Gobles; grandson, Ryan Yaple; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Pennell; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gerald Yaple in 1978; and second husband, Charles Yowler in 1994; a sister, Elayne Gilmartin; brother, Roger Benzenberg.
