It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Nelson (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Nelson Sr. and Vivian Nelson; and his siblings, Rochelle Veldt and Gary Nelson. He is survived by : his wife Emogene Nelson; his children, Jennifer Puchalski, Nancy Shufflebarger (Kurtis), Christopher Nelson (Shannon) and Nicholas Nelson (Christine); his grandchildren, Tom Puchalski (Amanda), Meghan Knowlton (Beau), Barton Brooks (Desiree), Amelia Shufflebarger, Samantha Hoard (Eric), Tristan Harris (Sean), Drew Nelson and Wyatt Nelson; and his sister Sharon Buckley (Robert). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
