Donald Koning Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2020, at the age of 86, Donald Koning (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Swier John and Dena Koning (Izenbaard); his wife Johanna D. Wielinga; and his siblings, Harry, John, Earl, Ralph, Norm, Nellie, Doris, Elleen and Shirley.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Jaymie and Libby; his daughters, Jan Voss (Robert) and Joyce Carpenter (Tim); his grandchildren, Nathan Voss (Sarah), Joshua Carpenter (Kayla) and Elizabeth Kurti (Ben); his great grandchildren, Norah, Wyatt Voss and Vivian Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Pearl Koning, Saundra Ives (Dave) and John Holthouse.
Donations in Don's honor can be made to Hospice Services of Southwest Michigan, Second Christian Reformed Church or Crossroads Bible Institute (CBI).
