We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2023, at the age of 89, Donald J. Himschoot of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyriel Himschoot and Henrietta Himschoot (Kline); his sister Marti Ozlins (Val); and his wife Joann Himschoot. He is survived by: his children, Patty Butler (Dave) of Kalamazoo, Tom Himschoot (Mary Louise) of Mishawaka, IN, Jane Powell (Daryl) of Lapeer and Steve Himschoot (Kelly Bower) of Otsego; his grandchildren, Jared Butler, Danielle Philmon (Buddy), Misty Yanowski (Brandon), Sarah Lowers (Daniel), Jacob Himschoot and Selena Himschoot; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Baylyn Yanowski, Kiera Butler, Liam and Luke Lowers; his siblings, Robert Himschoot (Phyllis) of Mishawaka, IN and MaryAnn Grygiel (George) of Green Valley, AZ; his sister-in-law Sharon Thomas (Greg); and his close friend Edna Delich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
