He is survived by: his parent Katherine East (McNees); his wife Diane C. East; and his children, Todd East, Jodi Milne (John), Dawn Kent (Walt), Kyle Root (Jenn), Kurtis Root and Kris Root (Shawn). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
