She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sykora and Jean Hoskins (Mahoney); her husband Helmut "Karl" Zeil; her son Alan Zeil; and her brother Larry Sykora.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Hamming (Don) and Linda Wooden (Skip); and her grandchildren, Donnie Hamming, Brandi Smith (Eric) and Nicholas Wooden.
