Age 68, passed away April 25, 2023. Diane was born in Kalamazoo on February 28, 1955, the daughter of Richard and Elaine (Kooi) Sweetland. Diane loved nature and walking on nature trails and seeing deer. As a lover of animals, she enjoyed going to Binder Park Zoo. She also loved her grand-dog, Iris. She was a Beatles fan. She loved stockcar racing. Diane was a devoted and loving mother. Diane is survived by her children Troy (Tammy) Wilkes of Allegan and Calli Sweetland of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Brittany Wilkes, McKinley Wilkes, and Gracey Wilkes; siblings, Mark (Sue) Sweetland, Lori (Roger) Eriksen; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents.
