He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Baker and Mildred Baker (Trolard); his wife Pamela F. Antel; and his grandson Tod Baker. He is survived by: his children, Ronna Bonneau (James), Marc Boyer (Kim Houvener) and Tod Baker; and his siblings, Doreen Baker, Duane Baker, Joyce Borton (Richard), Rodney Esseltine (Bonnie), Kevin Esseltine, Vanessa Simonds (Ken) and John Esseltine (Mary). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes or Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo.
