He was predeceased by: his parents, Almas Lee Clark (Amos) and Viola Clark (Godfrey); his grandparents, Mose, Lurena Clark, Samuel and Mary Magdalene Godfrey; and his stepgrandfather Herman Hurst.
He is survived by: his siblings, Almas Lee Clark, Jr., V. W. Clark, Roosevelt Clark (Sandy), Larry David Clark, Esther Ross, Doretha Clark, Betty Nell Clark (Gardner), Barbara Jean Clark and Mildred Clark Armstrong; his nephews, Charles E. Clark, Jr. and Anthony Gardner (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Floyd Gardner (Betty), Georgia Clark (Roosevelt) and Brigitte Clark (Charles); and his brothers, Jerry and Charles E. Clark, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews.
