She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee Gill and Pauline Whitaker Gill; her grandson Davion Johnson; and her siblings, Doreen McCormick and James Moore.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothea Reed, Donna Stiles, Vickie Gill, Diane Gill, Chino Gill and Bernard Gill. She is also survived by cousin's, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First United Baptist Church (821 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49001). A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park South (3941 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008).
