He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Timmer and Gertrude Timmer (Kreling); his granddaughter Rachael Timmer; and his brothers, Henry, Arthur and Adrian Timmer.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta (Oudshoorn); his children, Marilyn Timmer, David Timmer (Sandra), Paul Timmer (Elizabeth), Debra Engelsma (Tom), Gary Timmer (Julie), Barbara Meeuwse (David), William Timmer (Vicki), Stephen Timmer (Joann) and James Timmer (Joleen); his siblings, Nelson Timmer (Joanna), Cora DeBat, Leonard Timmer (Leona), Ardith Marie Polderman (John), William Timmer (Linda) and Gerald Timmer (Pauline); and his nephew John Oudshoorn (Nancy). He is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 88 great-grandchildren.
