He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Ray Elliot; his grandparents, Cleveland and Gladys Bowden; his aunt Arlene Washington; his uncle Karam Shabazz; his great-uncle William Bowden; his great-aunt Ollie Canda; and his cousins, Nikel Coleman, Dennis Dixon, Rakiyah Bowden and Rakela Walker.

He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Bowden; and his siblings, Monica Bowden and Perry.
