She is survived by: her children, Peteris Berzins (Karen) and Zigrida Zarins; her grandchildren, Emilia Underwood (Scott), Jakob Berzins (Clare Banonis), Karlis Zarins (Jen), Markus Zarins (Katti) and Diana Zarins-Ansel (Ben Ansel); her great grandchildren, Noelle, Alexander, Kathryn, Liam, Connor and Greta; her sister Alma; and also Latvia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Latvian Evangelical Lutheran United Church of Kalamazoo.
