“I lived across the street when the Huls family moved to Charlotte St. I was in utter admiration of their beautiful mom who had five kids, a big house, a job, and still ran things like a drill sergeant. Mrs Huls (that’s what I always called her!) was another role model for me in how to be a mom. She never knew that. I adored every one of her kids and they were such a big part of my childhood. Mrs Huls, you give Jon and Sherrie a hug from us. A lot of Charlotte St folks are waiting.”
