Age 67, passed away Wednesday evening, July 24, 2024. Coreen was born in Detroit on October 12, 1956, the daughter of Gerald Norman and Marilyn June (Bailey) Emery. Coreen enjoyed gardening. She was also an avid reader. She was a loving person and she always devoted herself to taking care of others. Nothing was more important to her than her granddaughters, and she liked attending their events. Coreen is survived by her son Jason (Courtney) Stewart of Kalamazoo; granddaughters, Zoe and Ivy; sisters, DruAnn (George) Thomas and Kimberly (Kevin) Hyatt; niece, Chelsea Thomas; nephews, Jordan Thomas, Christopher Hyatt and Jeremy Hyatt; and many friends. Coreen was preceded in death by her parents.
