She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Dykema and Marie Dykema (Venhuizen); and her sisters, Loie Block and Gladys Shoemaker. She is survived by: her husband Henry Visser; and her children, Joan Nieboer (Ken) of Kalamazoo, Nancy Visser of Dallas, Jan Stahl of Kalamazoo and David Visser (Kristy) of Kalamazoo. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or Alternatives of Kalamazoo.
