It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Odem Jr. (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clarence Odem Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sr. and Louise Odem (Dailey); his siblings, Annie Dean Suttle and Leaman Thomas; his son Timothy Markus Odem; and his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Suzanne Thorne-Odem; his children, Dexter Suttle, Sharlisia Smith (Llewellyn), Anthony Odem, Suzanne Odem and Savannah Odem (Aaron Begley); his grandchildren, Brandon Williams (Candis), Jelisia Williams, Dillan Hope Suttle, Khalid Odem, Jaden Odem, Nevaeh Odem, Charissa Odem, Nastasia Odem and Isaiah Odem; and his sisters, Linda Gail Cox, Rita Blount and Mary Looney (Ronnie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Battle Creek VA Community Living Center Fund or the First Tee of Battle Creek.
