He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Garry Smith and Russell Bommer. He is survived by: his parents, Michele Smith of Kalamazoo and Lee Bommer of Plainwell; his daughter Iva; his sister Lauryn Foster; and his grandmothers, Janice Raynes-Fuhrman and Mary Bennison (Jim). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends.

Memorial contributions in Chris's name may be made to Elizabeth Upjohn Community Healing Center, c/o the funeral home.
