Christine A. Anderson Obituary
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, in c/o the funeral home.
Age 60, passed away Saturday morning, May 18, 2024. Christine was born in Kalamazoo on January 6, 1964, the daughter of Ralph and Sandra (Cosby) Kizer. On March 30, 1996, she married Charles Anderson who survives her. Christine was a collector of cookie jars. She loved M&M's. Her family has fond memories of her decorating the Christmas tree with everything M&M. Decorating the tree was a family event. Nothing was more important to her than her grandchildren. Besides her husband, Christine is survived by her children, Tim (Holly) Gale, Elizabeth Anderson, Michael Gale, Charles Anderson III, LeeAnn Gale, Aaron (Tiffany) Anderson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Tim Kizer, Patrick (Pam) Kizer, Jason Kizer; brother-in-law, Dennis Bowen; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Christine was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Christopher Gale; sister, Robin Bowen.
