He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher DeYoung and Mary Jane DeYoung (Verhulst); his brother Freddie DeYoung; his parents-in-law, Helen McNee (Victor) and Albert Wendt; and his siblings-in-law, James Wendt and Barbara DeYoung-Sprau.
He is survived by: his wife Mary DeYoung; his sons, Mark DeYoung (Paula) of Snoqualmie, WA, David DeYoung of Williamston, MI and Paul DeYoung (Joanna) of Valley Park, MO; his grandchildren, Britney DeYoung, Abbigail DeYoung, Simeon DeYoung and Reuben DeYoung; his sister Mary Parham (Price) of South Pasadena, FL; and his sister-in-law Margaret Rice (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators (formerly Hospice Care of SW Michigan), Centerpoint Church, or Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
