He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee English and Narcissus Evans (Johnson); his son Kevin English; and his siblings, Douglas Evans, James Evans, Teddy Evans, Mary Woodson and Alma English.
He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Brewer; his daughter Franchesca English; his grandchildren, Vanessa Kilpatrick and Reana Carter; and his siblings, Willie Lee English, Barbara Ford and Cherry Evans-Vassar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
