It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Heller Jr. (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick Sr. and Kathryn Heller (Meagher); his grandson Charlie Wolf; his wife Rita Heller (McDonnell); and his sister Katherine Reck.
He is survived by: his children, Rick and Simi; his grandchildren, Zoë, Bryan and Julia; his great grandchild Gwen; his children, Marian Heller, Katrine "Trini" Nichols (Rick), Theresa Heller, Paul Heller and Vince Heller (Simone); his grandchildren, Zoe Dickerson, Chris Nichols, Sarah Porter (Paul), Katelyn Nichols, Courtney Segota and Patrick Heller; and his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Graham Porter. He is also survived by grandfather and loved attending his kids' and grandkids.
Playing cards, especially cribbage and hearts (he even learned to play on-line during the pandemic!), racquetball and golf, listening to music, reading, traveling and camping were all activities that Charlie enjoyed.
