He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Naomi Barton; his parents, Charles Barton and Josephine Barton; his sisters, JoAnn Vanderborgh and Catherine Peacock; and his sons, Mike Barton (Renko), Jon Barton (Heather), Rodney Blaine (Julie) and Eric Blaine (Paul Beasley). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
