He was predeceased by: his stepfather William Scarbrough. He is survived by: his father Dennis DeLorenzo of Indiana; his children, Jade of Kalamazoo, Briana of Kalamazoo and Tyler of Kalamazoo; his mother Barbara Scarbrough (Ahlberg) of Kalamazoo; his siblings, Scott Harmon of Kalamazoo, Todd Harmon of Kalamazoo and Shelli Brugh (Sandra VeenKant) of Kalamazoo; and his nieces and nephews, Ronald and Destiny Drijkoningen.

Contributions in memory of Chad may be made to his family for his children.
