It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cathy Charlesworth Mejia of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Trenton, Michigan, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; and her mother Ruth Charlesworth (Huegel). She is survived by: her father Erwin Charlesworth; her brother Curtis; her sister-in-law Ada Charlesworth; her nieces, Morgan (Brad Gauthier) and Logan Charlesworth; her great-nieces, Remington and Roux; her great-nephew Archer Paul; her stepdaughter Michelle Mejia; and her close friend Marco. She is also survived by many cousins and her wonderful cat.
In lieu of flowers, Cathy would be honored if you remembered her by making a small gift to the Adrian College First Generation Scholarship Fund established by Cathy and Paul, Trinity Lutheran Church, or Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.
