She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Sims and Emily Sims; her brother Richard Sims; and her husband Phillip Dial. She is survived by: her children, Jodi Hageman (Thomas) and Michael Dial; her grandchildren, Leeann Bowden (Zach), Heather Hageman, Nicolas and Zachary Dial; and her brother Hugh Sims Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Carolyn to the Kairos Dwelling Home where she had received exceptional hospice care, the SPCA or the National Kidney Foundation.
