She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Cushing and Leroy Cushing; her sister Margie Evink; her son-in-law Jon Steenholdt; and her husband Leo.

She is survived by: her children, Wendie Steenholdt of Kalamazoo, Lee Greenwood of Kalamazoo, Roy Greenwood (Jody) of Jackson and Rob Greenwood (Janet) of St. Johns; her grandchildren, Amanda, Anna, Jordan, Justin, Victoria, Merideth and Temperance; and also, Emma Jean and Jim. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
