We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2024, at the age of 82, Brenda Pomeroy of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyce Ary and Gladys Ary; her siblings, Michael Ary, Maurice Ary and Anne Hensley; her son David Scott Spitaleri; and her husband Paul Pomeroy.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Pomeroy of Kalamazoo and Nicole Spencer-Emerson (Mark) of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Tyler Spencer (Kyndra), Payton, Aubrey Pomeroy, Sydnay Spitaleri and Avary Emerson; her great grandchildren, Easton and Tate; and her siblings, Gwen Cole of Belleville and Doug Ary of Wayland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home - Portage (5975 Lovers Ln, Portage, MI 49002). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
