Bonnie K. Thompson Obituary

Age 72, passed away at Rose Arbor Place on November 15, 2024. She was born in Kalamazoo on January 30, 1952, the daughter of the late Maylan and Dorothy (Wiley) Thompson. Bonnie was a quiet woman of grace and gentleness. She loved her family, her friends and her pets, and her heart and home were always open to those in need. She was united in marriage to Howard L. Thompson who preceded her in passing in 1989. Bonnie enjoyed being at her home watching nature from the window, caring for her cat "Daisy Mae" and catching a favorite gameshow on TV. Above all Bonnie loved spending time with her daughter Mandi and grandson, Tyler. She was an involved grandmother who enjoyed following Tyler's baseball games; even when she could not attend, she still watched on Gamechanger. She loved hearing of his latest achievements and talking of future joys. Bonnie's smile, laughter and gentle touch will be missed by all who loved her and she leaves many wonderful memories to cherish. She is survived by her only daughter, Mandi (Tom) Elsman; grandson, Tyler Mulligan; sister, Patty Pollard; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bonnie was also preceded in passing by a brother, Raymond Thompson; sister, Nancy Taylor.
