Beverly J. Connor Obituary
A Celebration of Beverly's Life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at VFW Post 6252, 5990 E. Michigan Ave., Comstock. Beverly will be laid to rest with her parents in Lisbon Cemetery in Lisbon, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling, in c/o the funeral home.
Age 83, passed away Sunday morning, April 28, 2024. Beverly was born in Sandwich, IL, on January 19, 1941, the daughter of Donald L. and Thelma Elizabeth (Viland) Hutchinson. Beverly worked for 37 years at Borgess Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed collecting, thrifting and travelling. She was a life member of the Women's Auxiliary of Portage VFW 5855, Comstock Post 6252, and the American Legion 475. She was also a member of the Lutheran Church of the Saviour. Beverly loved people and had been a very good friend to many. She loved to socialize and had a wide circle of friends. Beverly is survived by her children, Scott J. (Terri) Connor, Douglas J. Connor, Patick J. (Valerie) Connor, Kathy A. (Thomas Boyer) Connor-Haller; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Johnson; sister-in-law, Laurie Connor; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael J. Connor; sister Kathryn A. Hutchinson; brothers, James Hutchinson; and her grandparents.
