BEEKE, Beverly J. Kalamazoo Age 84, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Bev was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 29, 1939, the daughter of the late Henry and Lois H. (Balloo) VanDyken. Besides her parents, Bev was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. On June 30, 1961, she was united in marriage to William H. Beeke, who survives. Bev is also survived by her children, Bonnie (Richard) Massey, William "Bill", Jr. (Lou) Beeke, Barry (Becky) Beeke and Becky (David) Wuis; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Bev was an extremely caring person who loved to help others. She was fiercely independent and was a compassionate caregiver, especially to her husband, Bill. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, specifically during the holidays. Bev was a great cook and a master of the kitchen. Her home was also clean and tidy. Bev enjoyed going to the beach, being in the sun and playing games. She will be missed by all who knew her.
